What is Galaxy4Gamers?
Galaxy4Gamers is an online GAMING platform that enables gamers to socially interact and compete in battle based video games. This is NOT a gambling site. There is NO GAMBLING whatsoever. This site pits your video game skills against the skills of others for a cash prize.
Are Galaxy4Gamers services legal? Is this considered gambling?
All battles and services offered through the Galaxy4Gamers platform are considered "Games of Skill." Games of Skill are games in which the element of skill supersedes the element of chance, as opposed to traditional casino games where the element of chance supersedes the element of skill. Galaxy4Gamers is therefore not considered a gambling arena and as such is legal in most European territories and the majority of the United States. If you reside in Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee or Vermont, you may not play video games for cash prizes. This is NOT an exclusive list. Other states may prohibit residents from playing online video games for cash prizes. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your state of residence.
Additionally, Galaxy4Gamers has no vested interest in which player prevails (unlike in a Casino game or sport betting scenario). Galaxy4Gamers provides the forum in which the games are arranged and guarantees that the winners get paid. Galaxy4Gamers serves as a facilitator of games and battles and does not make any money from the outcome of any battle.
Although the distinctions between skill-based games and games of chance are clear, there are a few states within the U.S. that do not permit skill-based games to be played for cash or prizes. Residents of those states can still enjoy Galaxy4Gamers services without cash or prize offerings.
Why is my state not listed on the registration page?
Because certain states have specifically banned online video gaming. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to enter challenges for money on this site if you reside in one of the following states. Residents of Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Tennessee, and Vermontmay not play video games for cash prizes. You are responsible for obeying the laws in your home state. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws applicable in your state.

What do I need in order to compete?
- In order to compete on Galaxy4Gamers, you need the following things:
- A Galaxy4Gamers account which you can setup for no cost.
- The platform/console on which you wish to compete (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2)
- Your own copy of the game that you want to play
- An Internet connection through the platform you are playing on.
What is the minimum age requirement to compete?
- Girls=18 (please send us your pictures)
- Guys=18
- Nerds =12,372 rotations of the Death Star around the forest moon of Endor (18 Earth Years).
- Nobody under the age of 18 is allowed to use our site. If you are worried that under-18s may use your computer to participate in video gaming challenges on our site, try any of the following steps:
- Use child protection software, such as Cyberpatrol, Cybersitter and K9 Web Protection, to block our sites from under-18s
- Don't leave the computer unattended when you are logged in
- Don't share your credit card or bank account details with under-18s
- Do not use the 'Save Password' option on login screens
- Create separate profiles for everyone who uses your computer, so that nobody else can access your information

How do I become a Galaxy4Gamers user?
Registration is easy. Just click Become Member on the homepage and follow the instructions.
Does it cost money to register and use the site?
We provide contests and battles in which gamers can win money. There are two main types of memberships. The gamer can choose to:
- Pay an administration fee of 10% per game (occasional gamer);
- $9.95 per month for unlimited challenges and battles, with no administration fee (frequent gamer).
How do I switch from a frequent gamer (monthly membership plan) to an occasional gamer (per-game administration fee)?
Frequent Gamers pay for each month of membership prior to the commencement of that month of gaming. If you want to switch to an occasional gamer, send us written notice to billing@galaxy4gamers.com, and at the expiration of the prepaid month, your account will cease to be billed and you will go back to paying administration fees on a per-battle or per-tournament basis.
Can I have more than one account on Galaxy4Gamers?
No, because we hold each gamer accountable for their successes and failures. We also hold you accountable for cheating. Thus you can only have one account so that we can accurately keep track of and share your video gaming stats with others in the community.
Is the Galaxy4Gamers site safe? Secure?
We take advantage of the latest security and encryption techniques. We partner with Media Temple (Link) and their security precautions. Our data base uses encryption for all monetary transactions.
How does the Galaxy4Gamers reputation/rating system work?
- There is a consecutive number ratings system based on the wins, losses, points, and dollars won. If caught cheating the player will be banned from the site, and we reserve the right to inform other video gaming sites of your cheater status.
- After a challenge or battle, players will be asked to rate each other on a numerical scale. We ask you to be honest and help create a community of serious gamers. Help us filter out the cheaters!
- All new players start at a ranking of 600. Depending if you win or loss and your opponet's score, your rank will change. Rankings are calcuated on the following tiers:
- Above 900 - 5 Star General
- Above 800 - Colonel
- Above 700 - Captain
- Above 600 - Colonel
- Above 400 - Private
- Below 400 - Nooobie
What are the required or recommended web browsers and systems?

What are the social networking features available on the site?

How does the Galaxy4Gamers Reputation system work?
We solicit feedback every time a game is completed. We also look at your score, points, level of difficulty, and other similar statistics to form a complete profile of your video gaming character.
Does Galaxy4Gamers share my personal information with anyone else?
No, unless you are caught cheating. If caught cheating, you will be reported to the other video gaming sites.
How do I chat with other gamers?
Well you need friends first. The reason we did this was to prevent spam. You can friend request anyone you like. Once they accept your friend request, then you can chat away. Click the chat box next to your friends avatar listed under your friends.
How do I send emails?
Click on the persons profile you want to send an email. Then hit "mail this user".
How do I check emails?
Click new mail on the top right of the home page. Then click on the subject line to read the email

How do I become a mafia member?

How do I send invite my buddies?
Click "Invite New Members" on the right hand side of the home page. It will be under your friend list
How do I know if my friend joined or if I was paid for refer a friend?
Click "Show referrals" on the right hand side of the home page. It will be under your friend list. The link will show you who and how much.

How do I join a Galaxy4Gamers tournament?
- Sign Up
- Edit your profile and add your available games
- Deposit some cash
- Find an Open Tournamnet on the homepage, click More Info and then enter it on the tournament view page
How much does it cost to enter a battle and how much money can players win?
- Minimum Entry fee is $5.00. Please see Membership costs scale above.
- In order to participate in any of the site's battles, users must have money deposited to their account on the site; the minimum deposit is $10.
What types of battles does Galaxy4Gamers offer and how do prizes work?
Tournaments of all sizes from 2- 512!. We also offer direct challenges 1v1 and multiplayer battles.
How do I find an opponent on Galaxy4Gamers?
Click on a game you own and view current action.
How do I set up a 1v1 direct challenge?
Find a friend or other video gaming opponent, pick a platform, game, and click challenge.
I entered into a multi player battle, how do I find out when my scheduled game time is?
Go to home page and click on open battles. The scheduled time will be posted under your battle heading.
What will happen if my opponent does not show up to the scheduled multi player battle match?
The game will be a default, and all monies will be returned to players minus an administration fee.
What happens if there is a disconnection during my Battle game?
- Option 1: Finish the game by starting a new game, keeping the same score at the point of disconnection and playing out the remaining time; or
- Option 2: The gamer who was losing at the time of the interruption can choose to take a loss.
How long do I have to play my scheduled battle game?
The battle must be played out until the final challenge has been completed. If you wish to withdraw prior to the natural conclusion of the challenge, then you forfeit your entry fee.
Why can I not find a certain video game?
Game is underplayed and has been removed. If you would and a specific member would like to commence a tournament that we do not offer, then please email us so we can arrange it accordingly.
What happens if I hit Play Now button?
It will take your top played game and find a member with a similar rating and pair you up.
Where are the battle specific rules?
When you hit more info under the tournament, it will show you the additional information.
Reporting and Verifying
How does Galaxy4Gamers know who won the games?
G4G uses a combination of the honor system and automatic score updating via our proprietary software. If the game is enabled for automatic score updating, then after a challenge, users will see a CONFIRM WINNER button that will kick off our automatic score update process. If the game is not enabled, then the user will see a CLAIM VICTORY and ADMIT DEFEAT options.
How does Galaxy4Gamers combat cheating?
We rely on you, as the video gaming community, to report cheating. We take every cheating accusation seriously and request some sort of proof of cheating, preferably through video evidence. Please refer to legal terms and conditions page to further explain our anti-cheating policy. If after reviewing the evidence, Galaxy4Gamers determines that someone was cheating, they will be banned from this site and reported to the other major video gaming sites as a cheater. This is because we want only serious, honest gamers on our site, and have to explain the repercussions of damaging the integrity of our skill based battles and challenges.

I deposited money into my account and it has not yet showed up in my Galaxy4Gamers account?
If the funds have not appeared after 24 hours, please contact customer support.
What is the withdrawal process for players to get paid out?
Go to My Money and click on Withdrawal. Requests may take up to 7 business days. A check will be mailed to the mailing address that you have on file.
Are there any ways to have my check sent to me faster?

Do you report winnings to the IRS?
All U.S. citizens with net winnings exceeding $600 in any given calendar year are required to be reported to the IRS with a W-9 form.
