G4G Sponsored CyberAthlete Program

We are looking to sponsor professional gamers!


Is your Call of Duty kill-death ratio marine like? Do you embarrass others on Madden routinely? Are you a TKO monster at Fight Night? If you rock at these games or any others, we want to hear from you.

Game Types

G4G is looking for expert gamers in the following game types :
  • First Person Shooter(FPS) ; ex. Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, etc.
  • Fighting; ex. Street Fighter, Fight Night, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc.
  • Sports; ex. Madden, Tiger Woods, etc

Regions

G4G will sponsor 3 CyberAthletes in these game types in 3 different US regions (West Coast | Central | East Coast). This means the G4G CyberAthlete team will consist of 9 total gamers.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 and over
  • Players must win at least two games on G4G in preferred gaming genre with minimum entry value
  • After two wins, players must then fill out an application in order to advance
  • Applications must be received before Oct. 30, 2009 at 12pm PST

Applying

If you have met the above qualifications, please apply online by emailing cyberathlete@galaxy4gamers.com and include the following information:
  • G4G username
  • Age/Gender/Location
  • Which game do you want to compete in?
  • How did you heard about the G4G?
  • Have you played in any organized tournaments before? If so, how many and what place did you get?

How it Works?

G4G will organize a series of tournaments in Nov 09 that will crown the CyberAthlete team. Members of the G4G sponsored CyberAthlete team will receive all travel expenses and entry-fees covered for three in-person tournaments in their local area for a period of one year. In addition, they will obtain additional compensation and prizes based on their tournament placement. Each of these elite gamers will also receive apparel and merchandise to wear at live tournament events, as well as heavy exposure on G4G promotions and marketing materials.
